As I'm sure you are all aware by now, Andy Hallett, the actor who portrayed Lorne on Angel the series passed away on the 29th of March of a heart condition.

Although this site is dedicated mainly to my fanfiction, I would like to take this opportunity to offer my deepest condolences to Andy's friends and family. I had the very great fortune to meet him a few years ago when he and his Angel co-star Julie Benz did a smallevent here in the UK (literally, it was just the two of them) and the world is definitely a little less bright without him in it. His smile and humor was instantly infectous, brightening any room he was in.

Rest in Peace Andy.

Welcome to my all-new site. Please bear with me as I'm new to building websites. Over the last few years I have written fanfiction based upon Buffy the Vampire Slayer, under various names, but all similar: Phoenixheart1979, Phoenixheart79 and now the shorter, catchier, Phoenix0879.

I have written one short story and am currently writing an ongoing series, The Legacy Series. Legacy introduces a male original character as a love interest for Xander. The stories so far have all been rated similar to the show - there's very little in here that you won't see in a season six or seven episode of the show.

Rather than post warnings at the start of every story, I will advise everyone that many of the stories on this site feature (or will feature) homoesexual or slash pairings, as well as heterosexual pairings. The general rating for my stories is PG-13, although there may be the ocassional use of strong language and some references to nudity ie: one scene featuring Willow and Kennedy in the morning features Kennedy doing naked push-ups and Willow admiring the view. This was done not to titilate but for realism: why would someone in a bedroom with their partner get dressed in order to exercise? They wouldn't, especially not a Kennedy personality! Any stories that are rated stronger than this will be clearly marked as such.

Also, there are character deaths, maulings and cripplings aplenty, I don't intend to hold back. The show never shied away from the fact that The World (ours and the Buffyverse) can be a cruel and unforgiving place and I see no reason to be any different.

That said, I do believe in giving joy to the characters (and my readers) as well as pain, so expect some high points to balance the lows: weddings, life from death, love and more are all in store for the Scoobies and their friends.
